The first playable demo of Hell Fire II: The Deadly Strike is available to play! This demo has 2 modes, Local Versus and Training Mode! And features 2 characters, Haley Ortega and Volt Tribune! Haley focuses on strikes, using quick punches and kicks to deal damage. Volt focuses on grabs getting in close with his high speed to toss and slam his opponents into submission.

Character Tips:
Try chaining Haley's dive kick into her Half-Moon Slash attack in midair.
Haley's Tyrant Kick will allow for a follow-up attack if you jump forwards after landing it.

Volt's crouching light kick comes out fast and can be canceled into many of his moves.
Volt's Arc Phalanx will hit blocking and airborne opponents, try moving into another lane to evade it.

The grab that every character has can connect with opponents in adjacent lanes.
If you perform a move while running your momentum is preserved.
Short hops can be very useful for making your opponent guess if they should block standing or crouching, since air attacks can be harder to read when the jump is so low to the ground.

Next Steps:
Right now my focus is on creating more characters. Though after this next character I will most likely go back and adjust Haley and Volt, adjusting their movesets, frame data, hitboxes, and hurtboxes to fit what would work best for them. Then after making the first six characters I would like to work on getting the Team VS mode functioning, before continuing with the creation of characters. Creating more stages is also planned to happen after the creation of the first six characters. Hopefully as Castagne (the engine I am using) updates adding those features will be easier and certain bugs will be resolved.
